NOTE:  these dates have been changed as of 9/09.  The previous dates fell on Memorial Day weekend.

Doris M. Ackilli

 

Japanese Kimono is the subject used to design  this piece and to be embellised  using chinapaint, lustre, penwork,  gold and new techniques to complete this original design. NOTE:  TURPENTINE WILL BE USED IN THIS CLASS.

Main Piece: 10 inch flat front & back vase with angular flat sides. 

Second Piece:  small Book Box for student to design using same subject.

Linda Alexander

 

Linda has several different disigns to be used to decorate this clock and the student will have their choice of these designs.

  Black/White and Gold - Another in Gray and color and there will be a Court Jester in the design.

 

Main Piece:  Ornate  Clock

Student will have the choice of several different designs.

Two (2) different subject are offered.  1 - Child Kissing Santa Claus

                                                                       2 -  Santa Claus

This class will produce heirlooms for the future to be used at Christmas or all year long.

Nancy Benedetti

Hand Built Porcelain:  FREE FORM FLORAL VASE -  the Student has the opportunity to create their own hand build porcelain vase and for the first time will be able to paint this piece with Nancy.

 

 
Dianne DesOrmeaux

This class will be able to paint a more detailed Border Plate in the style of Dianne.  This is what her students as Cazenovia have been asking for:  lots of detail work, chipping with gold embellishment, penwork and new design techniques.

HollyHocks with Air Brushing:  Learn to design this four sided vase with the tall old fashioned flower.

The Student will have the opportunity to design a 6 x 12inch tile using their own phots.

Sharon Roberts-Karl

Rose and Pinecones: This is a combination of different yet uniquely the same subjects.  We will utilize the Pedestal bowl's 3 painting surfaces to explore brillian color, monochrome and silhouettes for an exciting twist on these favorites.  Emphasis will be on brush control, shapes and their linkage or color for a dramatic project.

 Introduction to the Swiss Nyon techniques.  Students will select their own porcelain from 6 assorted styles and will be working on 2 pieces at the same time and possibly complete more than two pieces.
